When you fully comprehend that there is more to life than just here and now, and you realize that life is just preparation for eternity, you will begin to live differently. You will start living in light of eternity, and that will color how you handle every relationship, tasks, and circumstance. Suddenly many activities, goals and even problems that seemed so important will appear trivial, petty, and unworthy of your attention. The closer you live to God, the smaller everything else appears.

Long time no... update!

Hey guys sorry it has been such a long time since I have posted anything. A lot has been going on, I went to Sweden in the beginning of May for a week and then went to Ecuador at the end of May for 3 WEEKS!! Yes 3 weeks and it was a long trip!

Sweden:
All I need to say is I AM SO READY TO BE THERE! Everything was just amazing. All the people I met, the places we went, the things we ate... Oh my goodness it was wonderful! I was nervous about going because I hate it when you have ideas of what a place and the people will be like and there tends to be a let down but not on this trip, everything was actually better than I expected! I love the way their portion sizes are (what can I say I love nutrition and this was such a change from American portion size). The people are quiet but I get along with them so well (because I am not extremely loud). I found it so easy to meet people with in the bible school already and we still talk and we cant wait to see each other in August. When we were there the weather was BEAUTIFUL! I know it will not always be but it was amazing! lol I am now bracing myself to get ready for the WINTER! lol I think i could sit here and write about it all day, but all i need to say it that it is definitely where God has called me to be and to live next year.

Now my trip to Ecuador... wow! haha yes wow, it was the longest trip i have been on. It was a great growing experience for me to get me ready for the move to Sweden and being on my own. We got to help out a few churches and experience how different culture do things. We didn't have as much time ministering as i think we had hoped but the times we did were great. I got to teach a dance class to about 15-20 women and that was a new experience for me that actually was easy and it just flowed out of me. We got to see the country and experience places that were amazing displays of Gods love. Place that you go to and you can not deny that God loves us and that He created the world for us. AMAZING and breath taking!

Now I am back and spending time with my family as much as i can. We have set our flights and hotels for Sweden - August 14 is the fly out date! My sister and I are going to be doing a garage sale to raise money for living in Sweden and get rid of unneeded stuff. Oh the joys of Summer!
